10″ Impala carving, standing position, from Kenya

An attractive carving – smoothly finished in one piece – from Kenya, Africa circa 1980’s. it weighs just over 6 ounces and stands nearly 10″ tall. Most probably a Mvuli wood carving, but I can’t swear to this.

Note the graceful lines and detailed features. Minor imperfections on the tip of the horns.
